Account hierarchy and posting rules
Keep parent accounts and postable accounts correctly separated.
Use parent accounts for summaries and postable sub-accounts for transactions. Choose the correct accounting domain when linking a bank, cash, customer, supplier, or expense category. Do not post directly to a summary account.
