Bill of Materials (BOM), product bundles, and kit assembly

Create manufactured goods, promotional gift baskets, and multi-component bundles. 1. Create Assembly Item: In Inventory → Products → Add, set the product type to 'Assembly / Bundle' or 'Manufactured Item'. 2. Define Bill of Materials (BOM): Add the required raw materials and component quantities needed to produce one finished unit. You can also specify labor or overhead unit costs. 3. Production & Assembly Order: When assembling units, create an Assembly Order with the target quantity. The system validates raw component availability. 4. Stock Posting: Upon completing the order, raw material stocks are automatically deducted at their current valuation, and the newly finished goods are added to stock at their accumulated component cost.
